Welcome!

I'm so excited that you've found my website and hope that you'll continue to join me on this crazy beautiful artist journey.

Let's get to know one another. A bit about me.

I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Because of the amazing beauty of the area and expansive opportunity, I've never left. I've had many wonderful opportunities in my career and have now been fortunate to expand on them with a career in the arts.

As far as I can remember I've always loved creating.

Dabbling, doodling, pasting, cutting, baking, cooking, drawing ... the list goes on, but painting has always held a soft spot in my heart.

What inspires me to paint?

I'm heavily influenced by color, texture and shine. I source my inspiration directly from the grandeur of Mother Nature, the changing seasons and the beautiful landscape right out my back door.

My non-traditional technic of laying texture and color on both canvas and wood brings further variety to my paintings through the use of custom made colors and additional manipulations of the material. With different applications of medium, for example, I can give the raw materials varying degrees of opacity and translucency.
